Texas Holdem Poker Hands

  1. Royal Flush: Highest Ranking straight made up of same suit.
    • Apoker spade, Kpoker spade Qpoker spade, Jpoker spade, 10poker spade
    • UNBEATABLE!!!. Most poker rooms offer bonus for Royal Flush.
  2. Straight Flush: Five cards of the same suit in numerical order.
    • 5poker heart, 6poker heart, 7poker heart, 8poker heart, 9poker heart
    • Extremely Strong hand. Even if you lose, you’d probably win a bad beat jackpot
  3. Four of a Kind: For example, four Kings. The fifth card does not matter.
    • Kpoker club, Kpoker diamond, Kpoker heart, Kpoker spade, 4poker club
    • Extremely Strong hand. Even if you lose, you’d probably win a bad beat jackpot. Bad beat bonus is most rooms require at least a four of a kind being beat by another four of a kind.
  4. Full House: Three of a kind and two of a kind. Hand with highest three cards wins over any other full house.
    • Apoker spade, Apoker heart, Apoker club, 5poker spade, 5poker heart
    • Very strong hand. Be cautious if you don’t have the “A” and have a big stack of chips. Also be careful when there is a pair on the board, in fear of Full house.
  5. Flush: Five cards of the same suit not in numerical order.
    • 4poker diamond, 7poker diamond, Qpoker diamond, 3poker diamond, Jpoker diamond
    • Strong Hand. If there is no pair on board and no flush fear, bet your hand strong because it is well hidden.
  6. Straight: Five cards in numerical order, mixed suits. Straight with highest card wins over other straights.
    • 3poker diamond, 4poker spade, 5poker diamond, 6poker heart, 7poker club
    • Strong Hand.
  7. Three of a Kind:
    • Qpoker diamond, Qpoker spade, Qpoker heart, 2poker diamond, 3poker club
    • Strong Hand: Computer simulations show that if all ten players play to the river on every hand, this is the most common winning hand.
  8. Two Pair:
    • 9poker diamond, 9poker spade, 4poker diamond , 4poker club, 3poker diamond
    • As a beginner, throw away all other pairs if it is not a top pair with a high kicker.
  9. Pair:
    • Qpoker diamond, Qpoker spade, 5poker diamond , 2poker club, 3poker spade
    • Weak Hand: Learning not to overplay these is the first step to winning Texas Holdem Poker. When you have a big stack, throw you top pair away if your opponents are betting strong.
  10. No Pair Hands: Highest Card wins.
    • 3poker diamond, 4poker spade, 6poker diamond, Qpoker heart, Apoker club
    • Trash: Check or Fold
